Participants are invited to submit 1-2-page Abstracts on any topic related to Rock Mechanics and Rock Engineering covering Mining, Civil, Petroleum or Geological Engineering, or Geophysics or Hydrogeology. Please prepare the abstract according to the given ABSTRACT TEMPLATE. Please use the Times New Roman font type and adhere to the different font sizes used for different sections of the abstract. The abstracts should be submitted in English. Each abstract will be reviewed by two experts on the topic dealt with. The accepted abstracts are expected to be presented in English at the conference either under podium or poster category.
Authors of the accepted abstracts will be given an option to extend the abstracts to papers and submit to the conference website (please note that this is not mandatory). Each paper will be reviewed by two experts on the topic dealt with. Best paper awards will be given to 3 best podium paper presentations and 3 best poster paper presentations. All the abstracts and papers will be published in a conference Proceedings of the First SLRMES Conference on Rock Mechanics for Infrastructure and Geo-Resources Development electronically. Also, plans are underway to publish 10-20 best papers of the conference in a special issue of a reputed journal. At least one author of the abstract/paper should register for the conference to present each abstract/paper. Each registrant will be allowed to present a maximum of two abstracts/papers.
